Mayor Kevin McCarty’s Learning Tour: Join our neighbors on March 10th from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Clunie Community Center to meet with Mayor Kevin McCarty. The Mayor is having listening sessions throughout the city during his first 90 days. This is a great opportunity to share ideas, concerns and feedback to our new mayor.
McKinley Park Trash Dash This Sunday: Come join us this Sunday, February 16th from 10 am until noon for our monthly Trash Dash at McKinley Park. This month’s event is our large pick-up party, coordinating with Sac Parks and refreshments funded by a grant from the City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division with support from Friends of East Sacramento. We will have all the gear to clean up our park, and we’ll have donuts and coffee to power us up, and pizza to feed our hard-working volunteers. Come out and meet your neighbors. This is also a great opportunity for anyone who needs volunteer hours!
