Trash Dash at McKinley Park

Jun 7, 2024

McKinley Park Trash Dash this Saturday: Plan to come out on Saturday, June 8th for our monthly Trash Dash. We will have members of Sacramento’s Professional Finishers Union District Council 16 helping us, and providing coffee and donuts at 9:00 am. Plan to come out and enjoy some breakfast before we all work to clean things up around McKinley Park. Mother Nature has a sunny but not too hot day in store for us! This is a very family friendly event, and also a great opportunity for any local students to get community service credits.

Our awesome Parks team will be out with the Tool Trailer so we can really get things done—such as pruning some of the landscape plants and cleaning up planting beds.

Come out, meet some new friends and make our neighborhood shiny. Our group will be out there from 9 am until noon, meeting up by the duck pond. Bring work gloves if you have them, and stay hydrated!

Look for our signs at the park! And for volunteers to check in, the city has gone paperless. Here is the link for the event:

Please go into the link before coming to the event. You can register and say you’ll be at the Trash Dash, no paper form to fill out.
