This is a quick note about an upcoming City Council Agenda Item:
Critical Infrastructure List Resolution Agenda Item 7: At tonight’s City Council Meeting Councilmember Ashby with support from Councilmember Harris will be requesting that schools, daycare centers and childcare centers be added to the Critical Infrastructure List to be voted on this evening. This would give a 500 feet buffer zone around these areas, as well as several other critical infrastructures in the City. We encourage you to attend tonight’s meeting, email our city officials or submit an e-comment about the agenda item. City Council Meetings are currently a hybrid of Teleconference and In-Person attendance. In compliance with AB361 and the Resolution Declaring the Existence of a Local Emergency Relating to the COVID-19 Pandemic, adopted by the City of Sacramento City Council, City Council may return to Teleconference Meetings only to align with local and federal guidelines and social distancing recommendations for the containment of the coronavirus.
In Person: Public seating in chambers is limited to 50 percent capacity and masks are required. Seating is a first come, first-serve basis.

How to Watch or Listen to City Council:
City Council meetings are broadcast live on Metrocable, Channel 14, AT&T Broadband Cable System and/or rebroadcast on the Saturday following the date of the meeting. The live meeting broadcast on Metro Cable channel 14 can also be heard free on KUBU radio, 96.5 FM.
